How to Wash Our Wraps

James Hu

Taking care of your reusable food wraps is easy — and with a little love, they can last up to a full year! Here's how to clean them the right way so they stay fresh and functional.

✨ What You’ll Need: Cold water (lukewarm at most!), Mild dish soap (alcohol-free is best), A soft sponge or your hands, A drying rack or clean towel

🧽 Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Rinse with Cold Water
After using your wrap, rinse it gently under cold or lukewarm water. Avoid hot water — heat can melt the wax coating.

2. Use Gentle Soap
Add a small drop of mild, alcohol-free dish soap. Harsh chemicals or strong soaps can break down the wax faster.

3. Wipe Gently
Use your hands or a soft sponge to wipe away food. Don’t scrub too hard — this helps your wrap last longer.

4. Air Dry
Hang the wrap on a drying rack or lay it flat on a clean towel to air dry. Make sure it’s 100% dry before putting it away.

5. Store Smart
Once dry, fold your wraps and store them in a drawer or a basket. Keep them out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.

✅ Quick Tips:

Don’t use wraps with raw meat or fish.

Never microwave or put them in the dishwasher.

If your wrap starts to crack, try refreshing it with a DIY wax melt (or grab a new one from us!).

Caring for your wraps the right way keeps them working better, longer — and that means less waste and more savings for you. 🌱
